A C-level product, technology and growth operator with a track record of launching and scaling new businesses — inside major corporates and backed by private equity — and driving the product-market fit that makes them scale.
Double Six is built around Lee — and a proven network of specialists and partners brought in when the work demands it. The through-line of a 17-year career is simple: find where the growth really is, prove it, and build the product, technology and teams that capture it.
Lee has spent his career doing the hardest version of the job: launching and scaling entirely new businesses from a blank page — both inside large corporate organisations and across private-equity-backed ventures. Not advising on growth from the outside, but owning it from within: the proposition, the product, the technology, the go-to-market, and the teams that deliver it.
He operates at C level across product, technology and marketing — the three functions that, working together, decide whether a business finds product-market fit and scales, or stalls. That breadth is deliberate: growth rarely fails in one function; it fails in the seams between them.
And crucially, he knows how to translate the culture, pace and mindset that let start-ups thrive into large organisations trying to build and grow something new — the rare skill of making a corporate team operate like a start-up.
A brand-new venture created and launched start-up-style within a major corporate — now scaling globally on a lean, AI-native operating model.
From bond-trading and property fintech to consumer brands — repeatedly taking PE-backed ideas from concept to a business that can scale.
New businesses across betting & gaming, travel, sports-media rights and property listings — built and grown within one of the world's largest media groups.
Replaced assertion with evidence — defining and proving fit from the market in, and rewiring the roadmap around validated demand.
Rebuilt the roadmap, installed governance where there was none, and reset ownership across a complex global organisation — so scale stopped being a cost.
Every one of these was about owning the outcome, not a task: carrying the number, and building the thing that made the number happen.
The name comes from a car — Lee's grandad's Jaguar Daimler Double Six, and a lifelong love of classic engineering. A double six is the highest roll you can make, but the point is that great outcomes aren't left to the dice. They're engineered. That's the whole idea behind the business: we take the chance out of the bet — building growth deliberately, not hoping for it.
Two things people tend to say after working with Lee: that he leads with integrity, and that he brings enthusiasm — the latter being the most consistent feedback of his career. Growth is hard, and energy is contagious; both matter more than most people admit.
Away from work, he's a classic-car nerd at heart, and a proud father of four — which keeps him busy, grounded and relentlessly focused on what actually matters.
Whether you're building a venture, backing one, or launching something new inside a big organisation — let's talk about your growth.
